Granite Classical Receives National Ranking Award for the CLT

The nationwide results of last year’s Classical Learning Test were finally released, and Granite Classical Tutorials finished 6th in the nation. 

The CLT is a prestigious standardized college preparatory test offered to students around the country, just like the SAT and ACT, but tailored to a classical education. It is accepted by hundreds of colleges, a number which is growing every year. In 2024, the state of Florida passed a law, soon to be followed by others, requiring the CLT to be accepted at all public colleges and universities. 

By finishing 6th in the nation, Granite’s students out-competed many of the biggest, most well-respected five-day Christian schools and homeschool programs in the country. Clearly, Granite is developing a consistent reputation for academic excellence and we couldn’t be more proud.

This is an astounding accomplishment for last year’s 10th and 11th grade students who took the test (this year’s 11th and 12th graders). It reflects all of the time and hard work they put into their studies – they deserve enormous congratulations from our whole community. 

These results also reflect Granite’s rigorous curriculum, dedicated tutors and excellent parents. Thank you for all that you do to make Granite a special place for our students. Soli Deo Gloria.
